Paying homage to the awe-inspiring Rainbow Mountains in Peru, the vibrant colors of these Merrell trail running shoes demand attention, and imagery to match it.

To capture these colorful shoes, the Visual Group's hand-painted sets played an integral role, perfectly coordinating with their color palette. We used the sets to add three-dimensional to the scenes, drawing a connection with their roots in outdoor adventure. Over the course of two days, our collaboration with Supply + Demand reveled in a spectrum of colors as we captured the shoes suspended in front of painted mountains.

As is often the case, the rack-focused hero image of the campaign came through a moment of improvisation after we had officially wrapped—a reminder when inspiration strikes, you better capture it!
